Inside No.9 Season 8

Inside No.9 is back for an eighth series of perfectly crafted black comedy drama with a twist in every tale.

Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton’s world of the extraordinary and macabre has been a huge success, and has won numerous awards since it first appeared on our screens in 2014. We were delighted to be asked to provide the series VFX again on Season 8 following our work on Season 7.

One of the best things about producing VFX on Inside No.9 is the variety of VFX shots required. No two stories are the same, one minute you can be creating and animating a 3D mouse emoji head and the next you’re blowing someone’s head up. This season we did just that, as well as set extensions, screen replacements, CG animated parrots and magpies, lots of blood fluid simulations and a hefty amount of compositing.
