Weird Warfare is a documentary for the History Channel covering all the wacky concepts and ideas that have been used throughout history to aid warfare. Flipbook were commissioned to produce 3 sections for the program. We created a photo-real CGI ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark’ style warehouse for the set, brought to life the drawing boards that were filmed on set and created a series of twelve, 2D animated shorts to aid narration of some of the more hair brained schemes that were thought up. Weird Warfare was transmitted in the US on the History Channel on the 6th of April, keep your eyes peeled for the UK air date, we’ll announce it soon.
