Britain’s Secret Treasures Series 2

More Amazing Discoveries

We once again had the pleasure of working with ITV studios, providing a whole host of CGI reconstructions, including an 18th century warship, as well as animations and VFX for series 2 of Britain’s Secret treasures. As with the first series we produced a pseudo-3D animated map for each and every treasure  location, as well as regional maps and graphics for the accompanying book written by anthropologist, author and TV presenter Mary-Ann Ochota, detailing all the treasures that feature in series one and two. Award-winning journalist Michael Buerk and leading Historian and broadcaster Bettany Hughes return as lead presenters on the series.

Following its success last year, Michael, Bettany and a whole host of presenters uncover a fresh hoard of extraordinary objects found by ordinary people that have changed our understanding of British History. Working closely with the British Museum’s Portable Antiquities Team as well as with Treasure Trove Scotland and the Ulster museum the new eight-part series focuses on artefacts that have been chosen for their national importance, beauty and cultural and historic significance.
