Frazzled – The Feeling Ceiling

To mark Mental Health Awareness Week, we collaborated with Revolt London and Frazzled, the mental health charity founded by Ruby Wax, on The Feeling Ceiling, a powerful digital out-of-home campaign at Manchester Printworks, home to Europe’s largest digital ceiling.

As the VFX and Animation partner, we crafted high-impact CGI skies using real-world physics simulations to visualize emotional states; from anxious storms to Brain Fog and moments of calm. Visitors could select how they were feeling via an on-site iPad, triggering a personalised “internal weather forecast” on the vast ceiling above, turning private emotions into a shared visual experience.

The campaign transformed a high-traffic public space into an experiential canvas for mental health awareness, encouraging passers-by to talk about their feelings as openly as they do the weather. It’s the latest in our ongoing work creating immersive, experiential content for Printworks using cutting-edge CG Animation and VFX.
