Flipbook Studio created all VFX and the CGI creature animation for Landsec, for the 2025 Christmas campaign, bringing the brand’s festive turkey characters back to life for a second year running, following the hugely popular 2024 campaign.
For the 2025 advert, created with the superb team at The Traveller and The Bear and beautifully voiced by Joanna Lumley, we elevated the characters even further, blending full CG animation with live-action environments. As with the previous year’s film, we handled the complete CGI creature animation for Landsec, from feather grooming and look-dev to tracking, lighting and compositing.
This year we had the pleasure of also working with our our good friend, director Phil Hawkins, and the team at re:production.

We delivered the complete creature and VFX pipeline for both this year’s and last year’s turkey campaigns, including:

Compositing
On-set VFX supervision
Our aim was to make the turkeys feel expressive, characterful and completely at home in real-world locations.
