Above The Below

From Future Artists and Lionsgate, Above the Below is an upcoming feature release, a sci-fi survival thriller co-directed by and starring Idris Elba. It follows a trio of astronauts whose re-entry capsule veers off course and sinks deep into the ocean, severing all contact with the outside world. Blending high-concept science fiction with real claustrophobic intensity, it’s a gripping descent from the silence of space to the crushing pressure of the deep.

We delivered over 200 VFX shots for the film and loved being part of such an ambitious, visually rich project. From expansive orbital sequences and digital underwater environments to surface fluid sims and weather, our work supported both the scale and emotional depth of the story.
