We take on four new hires

Flipbook Studio are thrilled to announce four new hires, bringing a wealth of expertise and talent to the team. With work well underway on the Visual Effects for a major CBBC drama with Netflix and ZDF, as well as expansion in the studio’s Immersive and Interactive division; the new hires join the Manchester-based studio during a period of sustained growth.

Three of our four new hires have moved up from positions in London, reflecting the attractiveness of Manchester and the North West as a place to live and work, as well as what we offer as a studio.

Andrew Lord - Flipbook Studio

Londoner Daniel Fraser joins Flipbook as a Production Manager, bringing over 10 years’ experience from the film and TV industry, having worked for STUDIOCANAL and 20th Century Fox. Fraser worked on the highly successful promotional releases of Deadpool, X-Men, The Walking Dead and The X-Files.

Stéphane Sartori comes to Flipbook as a 3D Generalist, with a primary focus on 3D animation. Originally from Belgium, Sartori achieved a degree in Computer Graphics in addition to completing two 3D animation courses at the esteemed DADIU and The Animation Workshop in Denmark. With over 4 years’ experience as a 3D animator in London and Manchester, Sartori brings great creative & technical ability to Flipbook.

Miriam Sarbu has also joined as a 3D Generalist, with a focus on 3D character modelling. Romanian born, Sarbu attained a degree in 3D Interactive Animation before achieving a Masters in Fashion Design. Sarbu has 4 years’ experience under her belt, including working in major VFX facilities in London before deciding to venture North.

Jessica Ashworth-Aiton, a first-class Marketing and Management graduate from Newcastle University, joins Flipbook in a new role as Marketing Executive. Ashworth-Aiton, originally from West Yorkshire, will be taking responsibility for the creative development of promotional materials, website content and social media. Ashworth-Aiton will also be managing the upcoming partial rebrand of Flipbook.
